The Canadian Readers Group shares their reactions to one book each month. The group was formed in Canada, but the booklist is not restricted to Canadian authors, and membership is not restricted to Canadian readers. 
Books are selected from a wide variety of genres and are chosen by the membership.

Both groups focus on books that give readers the opportunity to view the world through new eyes, to be exposed to literature that they may not otherwise have chosen, and to have the chance to discuss these works with others who love to read.
